Here we have an antique wood sculpture, a grand carving made in the style of work made around the Federal Art New Deal era depicting a male worker, stripped to the waist, looking ahead. Carved in the heroic style of the Art Deco worker, an expressionistic style, celebrating the man, and work done well. The medium-sized statue captures the essence of industrial labor during that period. Carved from a fine grained wood like mahogany, then stained. The piece stands 24″ high x 6 1/2″ wide x 6 deep.
