Bill Lewis Kinetic Sculpture
Oval piece of pinewood plucked out of the Ohio river as is. I allowed it to dry and cure for approximately one year and then I scraped off only what could be easily scraped off and then what is remaining is what you see. It is stained with homemade natural, black walnut stain With three coats of polyurethane. Half inch hole drilled in the bottom 12 inch piece of copper pipe installed the base is made out of a piece of floor joist from a house that was built in 1889 in Steubenville, Ohio. Beautiful piece family owned for two years.
