16 1/2 Chainsaw Carved Owl Statue Cedar Wood Carving Rustic Art. This is a one of a kind, chainsaw carved owl statue from cedar wood. Majority of the details and features are chainsaw work. The smaller details were incorporated with various hand tools. The coloring of the owl included, white paint, wood burning, and the cedar added its own color to the piece. A realistic color combo. This carving was hand sealed with semi-gloss spar urethane to protect the wood, and to bring out color. It can be indoor or outdoor decor. This handsome owl was created on the Southern Oregon Coast. It is signed and dated on the bottom of the base. Nice detail, and a quality carving. Suggestions: Reapply spar urethane every year to keep the carving protected, and looking nice, especially if it’s outdoors. Keep your carving away from excessive heat or sun.
