Antique Black Forest Carved Walnut 5 Dog’s Portrait on Plaque c. 1900
This carved dog’s portrait was probably dopne in the Black Forest of Germany or in Switzerland. It features the subject dog (maybe a Labrador) looking to the left. The carving is mounted on a oval plaque It is 5.5″ tall x 5.5″ wide x 3 deep. It is a wonderful 3-D representation of a great subject.
