Here is a rare wood whimsy by world renowned Allen Van Hoecke who passed away around 1970. He came over from Belgium as a kid and ended up in the logging industry in the Pacific Northwest and by the time he did this one was in Chehalis Washington. “In God We Trust” is near the top, then his wooden ball loose in that steeple and the block has interesting folk art designs. On the edge is his name and the other side has “Life, Love, Time & Game”. It is about 9.5 inches tall and the base it sits on is about 3.5 X 6 inches. That steeple part is sort of doweled into the block so it can be removed. He did quite a few of these types of things, some quite elaborate. Condition is as pictured, a couple little bumps but generally nice. Still though sometimes we just have to do it later. Anyhow, I’m just an easy going farmer so if you aren’t happy with the item, no big deal, just let me know. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution. This item is in the category “Art\Art Sculptures”.
