The twelve shorter tools are all marked “DASTRA” on one side of the blade, and “GERMANY” on the opposite side of the blade. The six longer tools are all marked with a sweep number and width on the top of the blade, and “GERMANY” and the Dastra screw logo on the underside of the blade. These are the 6 tools to the right in the first picture. All but one of the tools have the Dastra decal on the handle. Some of the tools have some faint handwritten numbers on the handles, some of which look like sweep numbers and some of which look like very old prices or just don’t make sense to me. On the far left, 6 straight chisels of various widths. Overall lengths including the handles vary from about 7-13/16″ to 8-1/8″. Next to them going right are 5 skewed chisels of various widths. Overall lengths including the handles vary from about 7-7/8″ to 8-1/8″. Moving to the right after those 11 are. A narrow curved gouge with an overall length including the handle of 7-13/16. A curved shallow gouge marked “12” and “4 m/m”. Overall length including the handle is about 9. A curved gouge marked “18′ and “3 m/m. Overall length including the handle is about 9-1/16. A macaroni gouge marked “50” and “2 m/m”. This is the tool missing its decal. A macaroni gouge marked “50” and “3 m/m”. Overall length including the handle is about 9-1/8. A macaroni gouge marked “50” and “7 m/m”. Overall length including the handle is about 9-1/2. And a macaroni gouge marked “50” and “12 m/m”. For all of the macaroni gouges, the marked dimension is the inside width. Condition of all 18 tools is very good. They all appear to have seen very little use. The blades have some bits of light patina (color), a hint of rust here and there on a few, and nothing even close to pitting anywhere. The handles would benefit from a cleaning, with some staining and some old label or price tag residue, plus the faint handwriting as noted above. The clear coating on the handles is a bit thin in places. I sell what I enjoy, and I collect antique woodworking tools and I enjoy photography! The queue is overflowing with tools right now, as they seem to be finding me faster than I can list them. So please keep watching my postings as I have LOTS more to list! Searching my listings: I have lots to see! That will lead you to my extensive system of categories. You might ask: How can I know when you start new listings? Descriptions, and auctions with pictures only of the left side because the right side was trashed. I come from the handshake school of doing business, and hopefully you are like me and understand what that means. What goes around, comes around. However, that doesn’t mean that I won’t make an occasional mistake. Please don’t ask, the answer is no. I package well, and have a great track record. I use the US Post Office for everything. Every year the US Postal Service raises rates in mid to late January, and this year is no exception. So I wont do that for you, or to you. PACKAGING: Please check my feedback — I package well. I hope someday I will meet some of you as we trudge the happy road of tool collecting!
