HUGE pair of antique hand carved figural temple Chinese wood corbel sculptures
Up for sale is a very rare pair of large antique 19th century Chinese carved wooden temple corbels. They are carved completely by hand out of two solid pieces of wood with very intricate detailing throughout. The pair has lovely figural Chinese imagery and symbolism creating a wonderful composition. They are mirrored images of each other with a couple different elements in each. Each is very dimensional and has acquired a lovely patina from age. In nice condition and measure 46 inches tall by 11 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches thick each.
