ANTIQUE Vintage OUTSIDER TRAMP FOLK ART Primitive CARVED WOOD HORSE Sculpture. NOT A REPRODUCTION, this is an early piece of hand-carved Southern folk art. I’m not sure if it was carved at that time, or if it already had some age. This piece is carved from a single block of wood, with distinct mane, tail, and hooves. Eyes are inlaid, but material is unidentified. Measures 11 3/4″ long and 9 3/4″ tall. Displays beautifully, with one small chip to the back right hoof, and a repair to the tip of the right ear.
