This is a very rare antique 19th century hand carved wooden Mexican ceremonial dance mask. It is carved out of a single piece of solid wood and is beautifully painted by hand. It has acquired a wonderful patina from age and has two holes in each side for mounting. The piece has a great shape with cut eye and mouth holes. Measures 7 1/2 inches long by 6 inches wide by 4 inches back to front. In nice antique condition and is a very rare piece. Condition is exactly as photographed.
