ORIGINAL CARL JOHAN TRYGG 1930’s FLAT PLANE HAND CARVED WOOD 11 1/4 TALL FIGURE SCULPTURE. GOOD EXAMPLE AND IN BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CONDITION. NOTED ARE: A SINGLE FEATHER IS BENT ON HEAD APPEARS TO BE GLUE ATTACHED, AND, THE CARVING HAS MINOR AND OR SURFACE PAINT WEAR. THE FIGURE IS ATTACHED TO THE BASE WITH TWO NAILS. THE BASE IS ETCHED CARVED IN SIGNED TRYGG ON FRONT SIDE AND THE BOTTOM UNDERSIDE IS HAND SIGNED CJ TRYGG IN PENCIL. THE DIMENSIONS ARE: 11 1/4″ TALL X 3.5″ WIDE X 2 3/4 DEEP. THE BASE IS 3 3/4″ WIDE X 2 3/4″ DEEP X 3/4 HIGH. TO APPRECIATE, PLEASE SCROLL OVER ALL PICS FOR CLOSE UP VIEW. ALL OF MY OBJECTS/ PIECES WILL SHOW VARIABLE STAGES OF WEAR OR USE.
