Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Mexico. Beautiful, multi-colored, glass beaded and hand carved wood jaguar head. Handmade and signed by Mexican Huichol Indian, Niuweme in Mexico. His work has been featured in the Temurikita Art Gallery in Italy and honored at the Plaza Caracol, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Iginio’s noble pride of his art is evident in his communication and spirit. Using the traditional Huichol techniques of pressing Campeche beeswax onto this jaguar wood sculpture and adding, one-by-one, glass beads this bright and colorful jaguar depicts the offering message.
