Lion's Head Poplar Hand Carved Walking Stick

Handmade lion’s head walking stick made from a hand carved wooden poplar staff with a one-of-a-kind sculptured topper cast in resin. Long ago the Scottish highland farmers would gather branches while they walked the hills and glens with their flocks – bringing them home to carve by the fireside on the long evenings. At Storybrook Hollow we keep that tradition of our highland heritage alive with our own rustic walking sticks. This unique walking stick measures approximately 51.5 inches in length and features a sturdy 1.25 inch staff diameter. The lion’s head Lannister sigil topper is approximately 3 inches long, by 2 inches wide, by 3 inches high and is cast and painted individually by hand. The finished topper is then covered in a protective layer of polyurethane for a hard-wearing finish. The top of the shaft is wrapped in a black braided cord for added rustic charm and easy gripping.
