An original wood carving by Nancy Tuttle. Dear Friends, it’s that time of year when we make lots of wishes, and sometimes one has to dig a little deep to make them come true. Thus I have made the difficult decision to part with this beauty from my Nancy Tuttle carving collection in hopes that this will be an incredible opportunity for someone who admires Nancy’s amazing work as I do. Permanently Puckered Pixie issued forth on February 21, 2009 from a wood knot. Nancy has done her usual magic in evoking life and expression from this relic of nature. She uses rotary grinding tools and small knives to carve, adding a patina with a special stain mix and sealing the work with polyurethane spray. It is incredible how much detail she incorporates! Pixie is about 12 tall and 4 wide. She has a profile of about two inches. She has never been displayed, just carefully stored in the dresser drawer of a non-smoking home and admired every so often. She will come very carefully packed and with her original certificate of authenticity from Nancy. I love each and every one of the many carvings I have bought from Nancy, so I’m sure you will not be disappointed to have this one for your own! Ill be happy to answer your questions.
