Vintage Root Burl Wood Carving Horned Animal Spirit Folk Art Sculpture Rustic PN
Hand-carved from a natural root burl, this sculpture evokes a horned woodland creature -part deer, part mythical forest spirit. The artisan used the natural contours of the wood to form the head, horns, and muscular body, letting the burl’s organic textures create the illusion of fur and motion. A one-of-a-kind folk art piece, likely from the Pacific Northwest or Northern California, this sculpture perfectly captures the rustic artistry of letting nature shape the final form. Found in a suburban estate outside Vancouver Washington in the PNW. Measures 10″ long 9″ tall 4 wide. We do not warrant vintage or used electrical items.
