It is 12″ x 2″ x 3, so perfect for a small space that needs some style impact! The horse is hand carved from a solid, substantial, single piece of wood. Unfortunately, the artist did not sign their work, but they carved in a manner very similar to Eric Olsen/Royal Haeger’s Art Deco style knight chess piece. Please see last photo of the Royal Haeger white knight chess sculpture, for reference. You can see the striking similarity. The wood is smooth and has a deep, golden brown color. It has an oil rubbed finish and a beautiful patina. While it has a distinctive, vintage 70’s look, there are really no signs of wear that we can find. The wood is in excellent shape and has no cracks, splits or chips. We added a tiny loop of picture wire to the back, so all you need is a small picture hook, which we have included. It weighs just over 1 lb.
