The product is a rare 28 tall poseable robot man sculpture toy created by artist Don Ellefson from Chicago, Illinois in 1980. Handmade from wood, this unique piece combines elements of Contemporary Art, Modernism, and Folk Art. With a jointed construction, this one-of-a-kind sculpture features a modern twist on the theme of men and robots, making it a standout piece for any art collection. This is a lovely piece in good condition that would look great in your home or being played with by the little ones. The whole thing works on the idea that all the joints have bolts through them and if you want to change the pose you loosen the bolt, articulate the joint as desired, and then tighten the bolt again. He stands just a bit over 28 inches tall so he’s over 2 feet tall which is a pretty good size. This wonderful toy is in good condition but it is several decades old so mild issues may exist, wood has minor marks on it from either use or storage, it is not major and it is hard to see without looking for it but it’s there and I thought you should know. Please look over the photos I took, please take note of the different ways the toys is posed, one way he’s standing up straight and in another he’s taking on the “Captain Morgan” pirate look. This is to show how stable this piece is once you pose it.
