This art piece is large 24.5 inches in length, 40 inches in height and 1 inch wide. Framed with black stained maple wood Main stain Golden Oak. This is a solid piece of wood. So, that the art piece is ready to be hanged once delivered. I grew up watching One Piece and still watch it. I just had to make a personal art piece of Luffy and do him justice. Created by me personally. This piece is a unique fusion of artistic expression and pop culture. I tried to only add some color to the wood art piece to not take way from the intricate details and making it an ideal addition to any fan’s collection or as a standout piece in any gallery. With its one-of-a-kind design, it reflects the artist’s vision and the character’s legacy, perfect for those who appreciate the darker tones of the anime universe. The creation cycle – after the wood is carved I then clean out any wood threads and burs. I hand sand all the carved areas with 250 sandpaper to make sure the inside is smooth to the touch. The next process is spray painting the carved areas to get a deep rich black color that pops. After all that I add the black wooden frames and then the final process is to add the Lacquer. I spray a coat of semi flat lacquer on the art piece, so that it has a small shine finished look. This will also protect the art piece from oils and smudges.
