Chainsaw Carving Texas Flag Battle Flag Patriotic Rustic Art Oak Guns Bullets
Texas battle flag tattered and torn with bullet holes. Just a good ol texas battle flag. This flag is made from willow oak and finished with Helmsman outdoor Spar Urethane. This flag has been shot with. 223 and 12 gauge bird shot so all the little holes are from the bird shot. Wood found in the deep east Texas woods. I carve using rotary tool, grinding tools, chainsaw, and then give it a nice sanding then a finish. A BIT OF CHECKING / CRACKING IS THE NATURE OF CHAINSAW CARVINGS. TO KEEP CRACKS TO A MINIMUM PLACE YOUR CARVING AWAY FROM EXCESSIVE HEAT OR SUN. AN IDEAL PLACE FOR A WOOD CARVING IS OUTDOORS UNDER AN OVERHANG OR IN SHADE.
