Great Old Antique Vtg Original 1930s Large Folk Art Hand Carved Wooden Mans Head
This offering is for an antique early 20th century hand carved wooden mans head. The head measures app. 15.25″ tall and 6″ by 6 square. The folk art figure features a boldly defined chin and nose with well defined eyes and a deeply cut mouth. The figure also has some sparsely applied painted highlights on the eyes, mustache, beard and ears. The carving has been displayed outdoors for a while and has a beautiful lightly weathered surface as seen in our photo’s. The condition is excellent with typical wear to the surface including a couple of age cracks.
