Description: Up for sale is this very unusual hand carved and painted folk art sculpture. Carving depicts the temptation of Adam & Eve with the devil depicted as a snake with human head. This carving has the original paint and has been carved from pieces of wood and assembled on a wood base. Piece dates to late 19th or early 20th century. I have examined with a strong UV light and can find no areas of re-painting. Very whimsical folk art piece that might be of interest.
