Antique ornate 18th century hand carved figural gilt wood wall sculpture statue
Up for sale is a wonderful antique 18th century hand carved gilt wood wall sculpture. It’s completely carved by hand with elaborate detailing throughout and in the shape of an urn. It has intricate figural handles on each side with a grotesque face on the front. There are also dangling gilded rings under the handle but one is missing. The gold gilding shines strongly and still shows its age. The piece is flat in the back and mounts flush to the wall. It measures 9 inches long by 6 inches wide and sits 4 inches from the wall. It displays nicely but has some small worm holes and chipped top finial. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable. Most items are antique or vintage and could have usual ware from age.
