A beautiful antique / vintage wooden sculpture depicting the crowned Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus. Outstanding carving workmanship with wonderful gilding and polychrome (painting in color) and serene facial expressions. Dating back to the period of the early to mid 1900’s. For a more detailed description please refer to the pictures. The overall dimensions are height 11.4 inches (29cm), width is 3.5 inches (9 cm), the base 2.4 x 2 inches (6cm x 5cm).
