Another tool from my collection that I have decided to sell. Hand forged and finished Kiridashi knife made by Yoshinao. Engraving on blade says “modified version, Tamahagane steel”. Nice even lamination line down the entire length of the blade. The steel on this blade takes a very keen edge rather quickly. Highest quality cutting edge. See below for better photos. Blade is sharp and read to use, with no nicks or dents. Saya (blade sheath) is made from hinoki and a beautifully speckled red bamboo. Please let me know if you have any questions.
