Woodspirit “Torrin” folk art spirit – 4″ x 3.5″ x 10 long. Hand-carved with knives and gouges by CJ Whillock. I travel VAN LIFE style attending numerous woodcarving shows throughout the Midwest. You may also run into me in Florida Jan / Feb / Mar hanging on the beaches and dive bars… As well as other woodcarving and craft show events. These woodcarvings are created during my travels and help with my expenses moving from event to event. When I get a large inventory of items I’ll sell them for whatever I can get.. This original one of a kind carving was made using a rescued piece of Oak. The wood in my carvings has been responsibly reclaimed or freely given by mother nature. The carving measures 8 3/4″ long x 2 1/2″ wide This piece has a small hole drilled in the back. It can be hung with a small nail or tack. After carving I seal all my work with multiple coats of lacquer, and shade the recesses with an oil wash. I sign and date all my work with the year in which they are produced. Give your wood spirit a good home indoors and you will be able to enjoy it for a lifetime. Give the gift of art this year. Thank you for looking.
