A wonderful 19th century wood carved Thai Architectural Temple Element of a principle Doorway Guardian Deity Figure, modelled in traditional Rattanakosin style, from a solid block of auspicious teakwood, standing in a strong frontal pose, with straight leg on an ornately carved base. He put the palms of the hands together in salute, on the centre has decorated with candlestick base. The statue still has some gold sporadic on Buddha re-applied from time to time, with the wood having normal surface abrasions, cracks, chips, and minor dents, from years of exposure to the weather and other deteriorating conditions.
