This beautiful carved wooden peacock wall sculpture is handcrafted by the local Newar artists of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is 26″ (66 cm) x 17″ (43 cm) wide. Total weight: 5 1/2# appx. These beautiful carving were used widely in doors, windows or as wall decor in ancient Kathmandu. In great vintage condition! There are some rubs and nicks plus possibly feathers missing on top of peacock- see photo of close up of center peacock. Please see photos for better description and send any questions.
