WOOD BIRD SCULPTURE w/ TWO CARVED BOOKS. Hand carved Bird with natural expressions of the bird-nature, the base showing that its carved from a tree that is over 25 years old (according to the trunk-rings at the base). In great condition with a few small age cracks on the wood, and one tiny chip to the tip of the ear which is normal and usually expected for hand made wood sculptures due to its age. The carving is amazing and a small wooden cracks seen as a normal way of the sculptural aging, and is not distractive to the quality of carving. The overall condition – absolutely amazing!
