Up for sale is a wonderful antique early 19th century Tibetan architectural salvaged wooden sculptures. It is carved by hand out of a dense piece of wood with intricate detailing and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It depicts a stylized dragon and still has the mounting joint on the top along with a wooden added base. This is a large, antique or vintage, Wooden Chinese Monk or Buddha with a Cobra Sculpture. It stands approximately 16 1/2″ tall X 11″ wide X 9 length. It is heavy as it weighs in the vicinity of 15 lbs. There is a poised Cobra with an out-stretched neck wrapped around the base. It features a wonderful, life-like face of a man with legs and arms folded. He appears to be wearing a robe that is tied in the front. There are a few small splits in a few areas of the wood and a few darkened areas but the overall look is Fantastic!
