Magnificent Bali Suar Wood Nude Female ORIGINAL Sculpture stands 44″ tall and the base is 12″ x 19 by my measurements. Very Heavy, seemingly museum quality antique sculpture which was masterfully hand carved and signed on the underside. This is the ORIGINAL and is One Of A Kind. Carved from a single huge Suar Wood tree, the grains interlock and resist cracking, and has natural transitions from darker wood to lighter wood and appears to be flawless. The Beautiful Partial Nude Female has detail beyond description that must be seen to be truly appreciated. Magnificent is the only way to describe this one of a kind statue. To demonstrate the originality of this work, artists have been copying this sculpture for years in miniature. I’ve included a photo of the small copy next to this Sculpture. This is the ORIGINAL! While I don’t know the year this was created, the artist has signed it on the underside. The quality of craftsmanship must be seen up close to be overwhelmed by its beauty.
