Striking vintage root/burl wood “hand” sculpture, carved from cedar/cypress knee-naturally lightweight with dramatic knots and finger-like forms. Classic Ozark roadside folk art. The base is pencil-dated 2-12-83 and it retains a partial “Souvenir of Sulphur Springs” label (see photos). Stands solid on a flat base and displays beautifully.
