Up for your consideration is this SPECTACULAR vintage Shetani Makonde sculpture! It is hand carved out of a single large piece of ebony, and has a very bizarre form of a stylized and abstracted figure. It has a grotesquely twisted face with pendulous and textured breasts for eyes. The elements of Surrealism and Cubism are ever-present in this piece. It stands 15″ tall, by 5″ wide, and 3 deep, and is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. There are some repairs to the wood that appear to have been made by the artist at the time of the initial sculpting.
