Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an unusual vintage carved wood sculptural object. The dark wood is highlighted with painted accents in green and orange (see photos). It does not appear to be signed. There is no hanging mechanism affixed to the back side, but we are guessing this was meant to be displayed on a wall or other similar flat surface. It’s a unique find that’ll look great in any modern interior setting. 31.75″ tall x 12″ wide x 1.5 thick. Condition: There is some light surface wear to the wood, but nothing that we’d deem objectionable in our opinion. Towards the bottom perimeter edge there is a small nick in the wood (see photos) – it isn’t noticeable unless you are actually looking for it. When displayed on a wall, you don’t see it – just being mentioned for accuracy. Please ask them and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.

For your consideration, a striking carved wood sculptural lamp, circa 1950s. The lamp is unsigned but very reminiscent of Heifetz. Overall good vintage condition with mild age related splitting to the wood and mild staining. The central pin holding the finial is loose in the socket but stable. The wiring and lamp hardware are in good working order but the sockets dont match and I recommend updating the hardware and wiring. Measures 22.5 inches in height to top of base and 37 inches in height to finial. Impressive carved details and finely rendered, the figures are fully 3-dimensional, on niche balconies surrounded by fluted columns and scrolled motifs. The top of the panels decorated with knight’s helmets. Perfect to incorporate into cabinet or furniture doors, or have framed and display as wall decor.
