This 1984 wood carving (Santos de Palo) of the Three Wise Men was made by Pedro Martinez. It’s in excellent condition, no chipping, cracks, peeling or warping. The base may be made of Cedar wood (See photos), is very solid and quite heavy for its size. The Three Kings may also be carved out of cedar. Measurements: Each figure measures 10 7/8 inches High without the base and is 3 3/8 in Wide. With the base, each figure is 12 1/2 inches High. The wooden base measures 12 1/4 inches Wide, 5 inches Deep and 1 1/2 inches High. Artesano Pedro Martinez signed his name and wrote the date on the the base (See photos). Little is known of Martinez except that he is Puerto Rican.

Rare Vtg Carved Wood Santos Jesus Crucifix Cross Guatemala Folk Art Primitive. This is a very unique and rare piece of Guatemala folk art. Hand carved wooden sculpture of Jesus Christ on the crucifix. 17.5″ tall x 9″ wide x 3 wide. It is in excellent vintage condition – just for some reason, Jesus has only 3 fingers on each hand. It was like that when I got it from an estate sale. It is also tilting but still sturdy, so maybe it was intended that way. NOTE : Please refer to photos for more detailed condition. They are part of the description. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as “described”. This is a Very Old 24″ Tall Hand Carved “Santo Nino Vintage santos, Christ Child Statue. This is a truly unique piece. I’m not sure of the age of the piece but it appears to be quite old and nicely detailed. It is hand carved Wood with articulated Arms. There appears to be some old repair but the piece is very solid. It includes a heavy metal base that is not attached permanently but it is pegged through a hole that runs up one of the legs. This piece deserves a good home where it will be cherished and loved. Up for sale is a very nice quality antique 18th century hand carved polychromed Santos sculpture. It’s carved with intricate detailing and has a hand painted polychromed finish that has acquired a lovely patina from age. The saint is depicted standing on a routed rectangular base and displays wonderfully. He measures 12 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches wide by 3 inches back to front.
