The beaks of both hummingbirds are glued back on. This is the condition I received it in. A better attachment would be advised and would not be too difficult. This is very intricate and vivid. Vintage MCM carved cattail sculpture by Alajos Acs, Chicago, Illinois. Bottom is stamped and signed. Original sculpture was 31 tall but one of the cattails broke off but is included and can be glued on. Without the broken cattail the sculpture is 26 tall. Several of the leaves have damage. Please look closely at all of the pictures. Wear to stain on the block base. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

There is cracks forming under his armpits of his front legs and a crack formed around the connection of his tail to his body. I bought this second hand without noticing the cracks at first so I’m unsure if his tail ever broke off completely and got repaired or if it’s still attached internally. It is still holding on decently well so I’m unsure. My guess is it go repaired. I’m open to offers on this piece since is does have damage.
