Handmade rustic walking stick made from a spiral carved wooden poplar staff with a one-of-a-kind sculptured owl topper cast in resin and perched on a gnarled tree branch. Long ago the Scottish highland farmers would gather branches while they walked the hills and glens with their flocks – bringing them home to carve by the fireside on the long evenings. At Storybrook Hollow we keep that tradition of our highland heritage alive with our own rustic walking sticks. And hand finished by the original artist B. It is carved from Poplar wood, framed with Red Oak. & lightly coated with enamel color and clear gloss lacquer. Piece has a 2 holes in the back for easy hanging / mounting in either vertical or horizontal orientation. This original art was created in 2021 and finished in 2022 by B. The lion’s head Lannister sigil topper is approximately 3 inches long, by 2 inches wide, by 3 inches high and is cast and painted individually by hand.
