Jose J Pinal Hand Carved Wooden Mexican Aztec Warrior Bookend Carving Eagle. 10.5″ tall on a base that is about 3.75″ x 3.75. This piece is a lovely example of folk art by Mexican artist, Jose Pinal. He was known as the Mexican Picasso. Sixties retro tiki mid century modernists ambience. This wooden, hand-carved bust features the proud head of a Mayan or Aztec warrior complete with headdress and striking profile. This amazing piece is carved out of a single piece of wood.
