Incredible and beautiful piece of Art. Model Totem Pole, THUNDERBIRD, EAGLE and HAWKMAN above OCTOPUS. So very detailed carving by John Henry Hunt, a member of the Kwakiulth First Nation and famous world wide known Hunt-Family. He pays so much attention to details and clearly shows off his talent in this piece. Have a close look – the carving is truly highest quality. The eagle on top is spreading it’s wings, the painting is close to perfection. Just a wonderful piece of Indigenous Art – traditional, colorful, vibrant and powerful. Even the wings are not only painted, but carved in superb clean lines and depth. Signed at the back, the totem is mounted on a black wooden base. LARGE GORGEOUS CARVED FIRST NATION STYLE SUN W/ RAYS MASK PLAQUE. This plaque is a fabulous reproduction of First Nation style Pacific Northwest mask. This is not an authentic piece. It is hand-carved by a non-native artisan, so if you are looking for an authentic piece, this is not it. This gorgeous mask is hand-carved out of wood. This wooden mask/ plaque approximately 18″ wide and approximately 14-1/2″ tall and approximately 3 deep. This mask is in very good condition. This exceptionally fine relief carving depicts a Killer Whale totem rendered in a traditional manner.
