A wonderful black forest carved sparrow hawk mirror with yellow glass eyes and original beveled mirror. This carving has great detail. A lovely piece for the collectors. It is a perfect estate piece to gift or wonderful to start or add to your collection. American quarter sawn oak (1/4 or tiger oak) hall tree with a seat or bench. Both beautiful and very well made item. Wonderful quarter sawn (tiger) oak was used in the manufacture of this striking piece. Great decorative elements make it special. Large oval hand-beveled mirror is surrounded by exceptional carving. The original hooks have lion’s heads on them. Well thought out design with a mirror, hooks for hanging items, a seat to put on / take off your shoes, and a storage area under the seat. It is an extremely versatile piece of furniture.
