UNIQUE ” ONE OF A KIND”, ORIGINAL, chainsaw carved “Happy face” wood spirit. Chainsaw carvings, home or garden decor. This wood sculpture can be hung on a wall orfence. It is 22 i nches tall by 8 1/2 i nches wide by 4 inches deep. Thissculpture has been carved with a chainsaw, and fine details had been added usingvarious hand tools. It has been hand painted by the artist using a penetratingoil based paint. It has been sealed with spar urethane, so it can be placed indoorsor outdoors. Each carving is unique and carved by me, Patrick Allred. I only usetimber that has fallen or died naturally. 95 % of the wood comes from behind myhouse. I put a great deal of time, energy, and pride into every piece I carve. Ihave been carving wood professionally for 16 years. I believe my art would be awelcome addition to any home or garden. Fine Antique Chinese Buddha Wood Carving. For sale is a museum-quality, 12.5 antique Chinese wooden carving of a standing happy Buddha. The carving has stunning craftsmanship and design. Very rare quality, this piece shows a masterfully carved face, robe, and spirit. The sack at the left hand holds a very inconspicuous squirrel with the body showing and the tail peeking out from a fold in the sack. Even the fingernails and toenails are carved meticulously. His face is such that you can see the once child Buddha even in years past. There are a few age cracks that have old restorations with carved inserted wood pieces. The right side robe sleeve has a repair (could easily be made more unnoticeable). A lot of age, and finding pieces of this quality is a rare opportunity. All of my items are guaranteed authentic.
