This is a pair of rare wooden wall sculptures from the 1960s, created in France by an unknown artist. The sculptures depict warriors in an abstract and French modernist style, carved into the wood. Each sculpture measures 12 inches in length, 22 inches in height, and 1 inch in width, and are handmade. They are a unique addition to any art collection and are perfect for those who appreciate French culture and art. This is an extremely rare set of carving tools. This set was not used at all. The only item that was apparently handled was the stone carving hammer. All the other tools are like new. There are 19 chisels and gouges of different types. 5 different size and applications stone chisels. One wood mallet, one metal carving mallet and a stone carving metal hammer. The pouch for the tools is in excellent condition. It is like new. The case is lather and has 2 locks and comes with 2 locking keys. It is in excellent condition as well. It also comes with a sharpening oil stone. In order to clear any questions regarding the German name of the tools here is why it is what it is. It use to be German territory up to WW1. German Empire annexed the region at the end of the Franco-Prussian war of 1871. France took it back in 1918. All the villages, towns kept their names. Scharweacher founded the company in 1930.
