Here is an original woodcarving by sculptor Ralph Trethewey. It was carved in 1975 and measures approx. 6 x 9 x 13 high. It is basswood painted in oils with antlers carved from hard maple. Trethewey has gone on to produce a number of sculptures in bronze, polymer and wood. This is an early woodcarving which is part of the estate of a major collector.
