This is an intricately carved figures of a man and a woman outside a small wooden box. I was told it is carved from sandal wood when I bought it several years ago. There is no maker’s mark that I can see. This carving is free from any damage or repairs. There are also carvings on the outside of the box as well. There is a large erotic carving on the inside of the box. The dimensions of this carved box are 3 5/8 inches, by 2 1/2 inches, by 1 1/ inches. The weight is 2.6 ounces.
