This listing is for a hand-carved, abstract rustic driftwood sculpture of a fish. One of a kind, it features a fusion of texture and distended protrusions. The fish has a large head with a wide mouth and large eyes. The body is long and slender, with detailed scales carved along its sides and then explodes into an otherworldly tail. This unique, surreal and organic form is mounted on a wooden base with two metal supports. It measures about 21.25″ diameter x 10.5″ high x 4.5 depth. Just an absolute stunner folk art carving! Lovely size to this. Just about 19 inches in length. Can be displayed on a tabletop or you can fit a dowel rod into the prepared place if you wish to have it mounted on a stand. Just lovely grain and carving and hand-painted. Note the way the tail is fitted in. What do you call that… Expressive eyes to this wonderful creature. Obviously one of a kind and a wonderful addition to your nautical-themed decor / folk art decor! Truly a lovely showpiece. I only wish I knew who the artist/sculptor was.

Up for sale is a wonderful adjustable antique brass and carved wood display stand. It’s made of thick brass and beautifully footed with 6 spherical legs. It has 4 brass arms that can adjust the height of the arched brass cathedral finial. The arms and arch are topped with lovely spherical finials. It has a removable hand carved wooden circular stand that is intricately done with great design. It’s in nice condition and measures 20 1/2 inches tall at the highest adjustment and measures 14 inches tall at the lowest adjustment by 12 inches long by 6 3/8 inches wide.
