This is a truly exceptional antique mission oak wooden crucifix. It measures 26.25 inches long and 15 wide. The quality of the carving is fantastic. Many wooden crucifixes are quite crude, but this one is incredibly detailed and finely proportioned. It was done by a master carver. It has suffered some minor damage over the years. There is one wooden nail head square missing from the hands and some minor finger scrapes. The feet have some damage also as shown in pictures. The rest is incredibly intact. The artist has captured the emotion perfectly.

Rare Vtg Carved Wood Santos Jesus Crucifix Cross Guatemala Folk Art Primitive. This is a very unique and rare piece of Guatemala folk art. Hand carved wooden sculpture of Jesus Christ on the crucifix. 17.5″ tall x 9″ wide x 3 wide. It is in excellent vintage condition – just for some reason, Jesus has only 3 fingers on each hand. It was like that when I got it from an estate sale. It is also tilting but still sturdy, so maybe it was intended that way. NOTE : Please refer to photos for more detailed condition.
