A wood carvers maul that is leather raw hide layers held in cast iron. Weighs a little under 3-1/4 pounds. Has a makers mark that looks to be Goddard with a 1900 patent date. Measures about 9-1/2 long. Leather is a bit dried out and looks to have been cut down a bit.
