Here is a nice hand carved cane in the folk art style. This wood cane features a frog handle with a serpent or snake slithering up the shaft. The cane measures just over 37 tall. I see no signature on the cane. There is a chip to the wood under the frogs head on the bottom side. The finish has wear to it but it is not flaking, the surface is nice and smooth. It looks like the handle is a separate piece from the shaft and they were joined. I’m not sure of the age but would guess early 1900’s to WWII from how the finish and surface looks plus the subject matter. Any questions please ask.
