This guy is made from Cypress and finished spray on clear finish. Wood found in the deep east Texas woods. I carve using rotary tool, grinding tools, chainsaw, and then give it a nice sanding then a finish. This flying Blob Alien is an original wood carving. It was brought to life, from a piece of ponderosa pine, with a chainsaw and various carving and grinding tools. It was then embellished with floral wire, fabric, and paint to give it the charm and character you see before you. Dimensions are approximately 10.5 x 5 x 5.5 inches (10.5 measurement was taken from base to top of antenna) measurements do not include arms and wings. Note: Small cracks and checks may be visible throughout the entirety of the piece. This is the nature of the medium and, in my opinion, it adds a unique charm and character to each carving.
