9-piece lot of vintage Dastra wood carving chisels from Germany. High-quality German steel and craftsmanship here! Tough to say whether or not these chisels have been used or not; however, it is clear that if they were used, then it was only lightly and that they have been well cared for by past owners! Three gouges – #8 10m, #8 10m/m, and #20 14m/m. #20 handle and brass collar are cracked, but the tang is secure in the handle. Three scoops – #28 18m/m scoop/gouge (file handle replacement, not original), #21 8m/m, and #21 3m/m. One single skew – #2 10m/m. Two straight edge – #1 3m/m (file handle replacement, not original) and #1 6m/m (no handle). Some of the brass collars have slight cracks, but all chisels are secure in their handles. Such a high starting price… Yeah, yeah, I know, but let’s cut the BS… Would be an absolute steal!!!
