Strange & Mysterious Antique/Vintage Carved Wooden Statue / Sculpture; Oddity. Some of the unusual objects I have collected over the years clearly have a compelling back story, but I have no idea what that story is. This is one such object, both haunting and bizarre. It’s a true oddity. I have not seen anything like it. It is hand carved wood, approximately 19″ tall by 10″ wide by 5 deep. This is an old piece with signs of chipping, rubbing, cracking, and scratching which would have occurred over time with use. It also shows signs of old insect infestation. Beyond these observable facts I know nothing further. The figure feels religious or ceremonial. That is, it was not made as a decorative piece. What or who it represents I do not know. Many cultures refer to beings with multiple faces and heads. This is probably one such example.
