French Antique Pair Large Hand Carved Griffin Chimera Dragon Pediments Sculpture. An extraordinary pair of large hand carved wood winged griffins from the late 18th century. Each dragon has an antique patina. They were certainly a part of a stunning furniture. The surface unders the wings and the back of the legs are flat, so they can be put on and against something. The large sculptures are really decorative. Antique condition with some signs of ages like a some small holes on the wood, some cracks and splinters. French Antique Black Forest Hand Carved Wood Sculpture Cigar Server with Basket. A fabulous French antique Black Forest sculpture dating to the late 19th century. It features a charming country scene, with two mouses near haystacks and two baskets. Rare and quite unique decor! The first basket is quite large and the other one is quite small. I guess that it was made to be used as cigar server. But it also be fabulous as a table centerpiece or pen holders on a desk.
